Why Divi is the Best Website Builder
When you’re designing a website, one of the most important things you need is control over how your content is displayed.
If you can’t do that, then your website is useless.
Many people don’t have an eye for design, and so they settle for “out of box” solutions that are plug-and-play such as Squarespace and Wix.
Before I started Cassus Media, I was one of those people – then I decided to get smart.
The thing is, you could learn to code a website from scratch or use a piece of software like Adobe Dreamweaver to build it on the backend, then figure out how to upload your FTP or SFTP file to a server and host it that way.
My argument is this – if you can code everything from scratch but it looks terrible, why bother?
One of the main core selling points of my website services is an eye for design, borrowing from some of the most successful websites out there.
Oh, and it’s all done using Divi Builder by Elegant Themes.
Now, each of the links in this article will take you to a sales page by Elegant Themes that explains all of the benefits of the Divi Theme for Wordpress. I’d like to take an opportunity and tell you myself why it’s so great before they even get a chance.
It’s easy to use.
One of my favorite things about Divi is that you can do everything on the front end and see it come to life. No other website builder out there – yes, I’m talking to you Elementor – has this capability, and one has to wonder why no one else does.
(Seriously, why?? It’s the 21st century!)
Now, of course there’s a bit of a learning curve, and no website builder is absolutely compatible with every single plugin out there. It’s impossible to make that happen – but, the nifty thing about Divi is that there’s always a workaround, and Divi recognizes most plugins by giving you the option to activate the builder on their post types.
It’s extremely affordable.
If you’re invested in your website and really, really want to make it both functional and visually appealing, Divi’s got you covered.
Many Wordpress themes out there cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to use, and they’re honestly not very friendly.
Even worse, if you’re a website designer and want to build different websites for your clients, you’re going to have to purchase a theme on their behalf every time or have them purchase it (which doesn’t make for a good selling point).
They sell their ENTIRE Lifetime Access package for only $249 USD, which includes a whole slew of features and different products. I think they actually underpriced their products, but it’s so darn popular that I hope they’re making a killing.
Oh yeah – you can have unlimited API keys and use it on an unlimited number of websites. That’s absolutely incredible, and we’ve made a LOT of revenue simply because there was no extra cost involved.
They have excellent support.
I’ve submitted a few tickets personally requesting different features, asking about certain functionalities within the Divi theme, and so on.
Every time I do, they get back to me very quickly, sometimes within a few hours.
Not to mention the fact that they know their product extremely well, what it may or may not be compatible with, and they’ve received so much feedback from their customers that there’s almost nothing they can’t answer for you.
Now that is customer service, baby.
You have full control.
I’ve already said this, but it’s worth repeating:
Divi lets you have absolutely full control over every single aspect of how your website is designed.
From simple tasks like text editing and individual control over every single element to complicated animation and transforming functions that let you move elements pixel by pixel – on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices by the way with separate settings – there’s no way that you can’t make an awesome website if you have an eye for design.
If Divi doesn’t have a feature available yet, you can always find the CSS code to make it happen and simply stick it in the “Additional CSS” settings.
We only build with Divi.
Now, of course this isn’t exactly a reason for you to use our services or purchase Divi, but I just want to let you know that we only use Divi because of its versatility, functionality, and the Elegant Themes support staff that allow me to run my business and build websites with ease.
I bought the Elegant Themes Lifetime Access package a long time ago – and let me tell you, I’m never going back.
